I knew Marina and Marco more than one year ago when they came to me to discuss about their wedding. I immediately knew she wanted to be perfect, romantic and elegant, pratically I found my other half when she said : “I want it elegant, but sober”.
Let’s start with the church. It was not easy becase this church is open only for visits and not so many weddings took place in this little church in the heart of Florence, few steps from the Duomo.
This was the church where the Summa poet Dante Alighieri married his wife Gemma Donati but most of all it is the church where Dante met for the very first time, his muse, Beatrice, a girl who died too young and buried there. The priest is a caracter and he is not keen in giving this church for weddings but the couples were very stubborn and finally made it. Most of all this church was the church he proposed so it was extremely important to get married there! The church itself is not a very nice church, very empty but the capable hands of my trustful florist changed the aspect of this church in every way possible.
The Reception: They wanted a romantic, elegant but not so formal lunch, so I immediately proposed , the Salviatino, a five star villa hotel located in one of the hills of Florence. I knew that it wa sthe perfect combination of elegance, sobriety and calmness and moreover I knew that the chef was great.
The elegant villa, once Standford University head quarter in Florence, turned into a hotel only three years ago after a long restoration process: the rooms, all different, the suites with fine and antiques details gives that place a particular touch. The cocktail was served on the tearrace overloking the italian garden of the villa but moreover Florence and then the lunch was served in the library of the hotel, a particular place for a lunch!
The flowers: white avalances rose, pink pale roses, hydreangeas, lesanthum, all come from Stefania, flower atelier in Florence
The music: there is only one music in Florence to me when it comes to classical music, Firenze Classica

Eu sabia que Marina e Marco mais de um ano atrás, quando eles vieram a mim para discutir sobre seu casamento. Eu imediatamente soube que queria ser perfeito, romântico e elegante, praticamente eu encontrei a minha outra metade, quando ela disse: “Eu quero que ele elegante, mas sóbria”.
Vamos começar com a igreja. Não foi fácil becase esta igreja está aberto apenas para visitas e nem tantos casamentos teve lugar nesta pequena igreja no coração de Florença, a poucos passos do Duomo.
Esta foi a igreja onde o poeta Dante Alighieri Summa casou com sua esposa Gemma Donati, mas acima de tudo, é a igreja onde Dante se reuniu pela primeira vez, sua musa, Beatriz, uma menina que morreu muito jovem e enterrado lá. O sacerdote é um caracter e ele não está interessado em dar esta igreja para casamentos, mas os casais eram muito teimosos e finalmente conseguiu. Acima de tudo esta igreja era a igreja que ele propôs para que ele foi extremamente importante para se casar lá! A igreja em si não é uma igreja muito bonita, muito vazio, mas nas mãos capazes de minha florista de confiança mudou o aspecto da igreja em todas as formas possíveis.
A recepção: Eles queriam um almoço romântico, elegante, mas não tão formal, então eu imediatamente proposto, o Salviatino, um cinco estrelas hotel villa localizado em uma das colinas de Florença. Eu sabia que ele wa combinação perfeita sO de sobriedade, elegância e calma e, além disso eu sabia que o chef era grande.
A villa elegante, uma vez Standford quarto cabeça Universitário Europeu de Florença, transformado num hotel há apenas três anos depois de um longo processo de restauração: os quartos, todos diferentes, as suites com detalhes finos e antiguidades que dá lugar um toque especial. O coquetel foi servido no tearrace overloking o jardim italiano da vila, mas além disso Florença e, em seguida, o almoço foi servido na biblioteca do hotel, um lugar especial para um almoço!
As flores: avalances rosa branca, rosa rosas pálidos, hydreangeas e lesanthum, todos vêm de Stefania, flor atelier em Florença
A música: só há uma música em Florença para mim quando se trata de música clássica, Firenze Classica
