Indian wedding in Florence: the dream town

ImmagineFlorence has been the romantic setting for three days of parties for an Indian wedding. The bride was the only daughter of the Indian plastic magnate Aloke Lohia.

Florence was completely booked for an entire week and St Regis hotel and Excelsior as well as other five stars deluxe hotel of the town were reserved for the family, relatives and friends coming from all over the world. Piazza Ognissanti became an exotic garden with flowers and plants that were under a giant gazebo where family and friends can have tea, coffees, cakes, snacks 24/24. Not only that. A dinner was hosted in the courtyard of Ammannati in Palazzo Pitti and a dinner at the Pergola Theater. The actual wedding was hosted at Villa Corsini in San Casciano Val di Pesa, in the sweet hills of Chianti.

Days in which Florence was at the attention of the world, where hundreds of people coming from all over the world joined the bride and the groom doing shopping, eating gelato, taste Italian food and visiting the amazing architecture of the town.

Well, maybe you cannot have your wedding in Palazzo Pitti or in Palazzo Vecchio (unless you are prepare to spend a lot) but certainly you can have your dream wedding in Florence.Immagine
